I will not trust my eyes to anyone else! I have been coming to Rand and Janeel for years. There are options to get glasses closer to me, but none of them come with the same attention to detail, customer service, or quality eyewear that I receive at eyeSmith. My husband, who did not wear glasses at the time, didn’t understand the difference in quality that I was paying for. I let him convince me it wasn’t worth it and got one pair of glasses somewhere else. Never again! The impact to the clarity of my vision and the lower quality of both the frames and lenses convinced me that it is always worth it to go to eyeSmith. Since then, both my son and my husband have had the opportunity to experience the eyeSmith difference. Both have been shocked at the remarkable difference in quality of product and impact to their clarity of vision. Before purchasing his glasses at eyeSmith, my son managed to destroy every frame he has ever worn. The frames from eyeSmith are the first ones ever to hold up to what he puts his glasses through. I cannot say enough good things about Rand, Janel, the rest of their team, or the products and services they provide. We will not go anywhere else!

Very personable staff with lots of options and personalized service.When I went in a couple weeks later to pick up my new glasses, they were having a Sunglasses Bash. While there, I entered my name for a chance to win a new pair of sunglasses and I won ($190 value–not too shabby)! The owners are so sweet and generous, and I’m thrilled with both pairs of glasses now.

My vision is critical in my line of work. My last two pairs of glasses just didn’t seem to quite get my vision as precise as it really needed to be. (Ordered from a famous online store) I started to resolve that at 65 my vision was just never going to be as sharp as it once was.I complained so much to my optometrist that I was referred to a cataract specialist to be evaluated for eye surgery because I had all the symptoms of cataracts without much of a sign of them. That appointment was nearly two months in the future. Needing any improvement I could get until my surgery I took my prescription to Eyesmith based on their radio commercials I’ve heard for years. Wow! A little miracle occurred that morning. I received quite the education on lens and ended up ordering Hoya lenses based on the incredible quality and advanced technology that goes into them. Of course I was sucked into purchasing some of their coolest/unique frames to go along with them. I could go on and on about the superb service and attention I received but the bottom line was this. Cataract surgery cancelled!My vision problems were not from cataracts or an inaccurate prescription but rather from poor quality fitting and lenses. A huge factor was the measurement (I took myself with a ruler) for the distance between my pupils. Eyesmith uses a special (and I understand expensive) devise to take an extremely accurate measurement. This alone was worth the long drive to visit them.Now I’m spoiled and will see them again in the next few days to order a second pair as backup. Should my new glasses be damaged, going back to my old ones would not be an option. I would feel almost blind in comparison. And it is another excuse to get another cool pair of frames!One other note. You might think I spent a lot of money on my new glasses. I did! More than I would have ever dreamed of spending on glasses but not regretting one penny that I invested. I sort of went all out however with the best of everything and my prescription is somewhat complicated. I’m quite sure Eyesmith can accommodate anyone on more of a budget very successfully. I’m very thankful for the great people of Eyesmith and their store. Even if you have to travel a great distance to get here I would. So worth any extra effort.

This place is amazing!! God bless them, the owners may just be the nicest couple I have ever had the pleasure of working with!! A few years ago, due to light induced migraines, I was in desperate need of a pair of very dark prescription sunglasses. My eye doctor was not able to order lenses dark enough and after purchasing 2 different pairs from 2 different places, neither of which ended up being sufficiently dark, my husband suggested I call eyeSmith, based on having heard them advertised on the radio, and though we knew it would be a 70 mile drive, I finally broke down and called them and based on what I was told, we then made the drive to go see what they could do for me. Lo and behold, on first try they were able to get me into a pair of sunglasses that was perfect for my needs!! When it came time to pick up my new glasses, this place went above and beyond in making sure the glasses were adjusted perfectly!! Fast forward to recently, when my sunglasses were finally in need of adjustment again, we made the drive again and not only did they go above and beyond to make sure they were adjusted perfectly again, they also adjusted my daily glasses for me as well, even though I had not purchased those there and even though no one at my eye doctors office had been able to get them adjusted properly. I cannot say enough good about this place and the amazingly sweet, accommodating couple who own/run it!! I will forever be a happy customer!! If you are in doubt, don’t hesitate any longer. It truly is worth the drive from wherever you may be located!!

He went there to get frames repaired, was so impressed with time and care spent with him he went back to get new glasses. He told several people he works with myself and a few more, all of us purchased new glasses. The time spent to ensure proper fit is impressive, best experience buying glasses ever. I live about 50 miles from store but is well worth the drive.

The staff actually listens to their clients concerns. They take the time to let you review numerous frames and they explain the benefits of various lenses. They may be a bit more expensive than the big chain stores but the quality and durability of the product is well worth the price.

I’m 80, and in this world, I have found that “customer service “, has almost vanished, but not gone. The people who own this business realize what the customer is, and treat you like the valuable person you are to their business. You will probably have to visit a hundred other shops, before finding any thing close to the service you receive at this business. They are like visiting shops back in the 50’s, when customers were actually appreciated, and welcomed like friends. Thanks for helping me believe that CUSTOMER SERVICE, is not dead. I have worn glasses for 56 years. The owners and staff of eyeSmith Optical are the the most knowledgeable, professional, and friendly people I have ever seen in an optical shop. They do everything humanly possible to find the perfect glasses for you with the perfect fit. They offer the best products in the industry. After you try their HOYA camera quality lens you will never go back to ordinary lenses. You can find cheaper products but I doubt you can find better. You really do get what you pay for. I have moved 150 miles away and I am happy to travel that far because eyeSmith Optical is that good !

I am so impressed and happy with my experience at EyeSmith! Every employee is knowledgeable and confident about the products they sell. I was also blown away by how attentive and gracious each worker was to every customer. When I first walked in, I talked briefly with an employee and then told him I wanted to browse by myself for a bit. After I found two frames I liked, I wanted advice and that same employee materialized. He gave me helpful input and then suggested some frames he had been setting aside based on the few things I had mentioned when I met him. Based on his choices, it was evident that he knew just what I liked and he was very skilled at his job. I trusted him right away. He was never pushy and took care to listen to details that I liked or didn’t like. I ended up buying two pairs that he picked out and I couldn’t be happier!! Now that I’ve had my glasses for a few weeks, I can say I am spoiled in every way! My glasses are top quality, they look like they were made just for me, and the service I received every time I went into the EyeSmith goes unmatched anywhere else! I HIGHLY recommend, especially since I plan on going back from now on. If I could give ten stars, I would!
